Black Horse Design is a design and marketing agency based in Wirral, Merseyside, UK.
We work with a wide variety of local, national and international businesses on all sorts of design and marketing projects. We can manage the whole creative and production process from initial concept through to delivery and we can also help you promote your business effectively – online and offline.
Black Horse Design is managed by David Taylor and Justine Harrison. We are designers, photographers and marketers with creative talent and extensive practical experience. Between us we have over 65 years of experience in the design and marketing communications industries. We also work with specialist copywriters, illustrators, videographers and merchandise experts on individual projects.
David Taylor
David is an experienced digital media professional, producing websites and managing online marketing campaigns since 1995 for a wide variety of clients - from small local businesses to national telecoms, media, sport and charity/non-profit organisations.
David is Black Horse Design's resident photographer. Examples of his photography can be seen here and on Instagram.
David created Horse Network, the local equestrian website network in the UK and also co-founded Understand Horses, the online equine education platform.

Justine Harrison
Justine has worked as a graphic designer and art director for over 30 years. She has designed for a diverse client base including blue chip companies, museums, local councils, restaurants and record labels. Her work has included books for Penguin Random House and Hamlyn, signage and promotional material for West End theatres, annual reports for charities, album covers, commercial clothing and printed materials for local councils.
Justine also works as a horse behaviour consultant and trainer and is the Director of Understand Horses, the online equine education platform. She has a passion for horses and has been riding for as long as she can remember.
